Sherika Shields (Williams), also known as Sheri, is native to Florida. She graduated with a BA in Digital Media with a specialty in character animation. Her husband, Blake Shields, is her biggest advocate and cheerleader. Sheri wrote countless stories as a little girl, but never imagined that one day, one particular story would incite a passion in her heart to tell. Her first endeavor with her novel, Venin Abyss, started when she was a teenager.
In 2009, she created an online video series for Venin Abyss. She enlisted the help of voice actors and used creative video editing/effects to ensure her story came alive for her avid viewers. Fourteen installments were made from 2009-2013. Atheist turned Christian, she originally hung the towel on the vampire story. However, in 2018, she felt it was finally time to adapt her series into a novel. It is wrapped in a deeper and cleaner interpretation than the series expressed. The story exhibits a new message of hope, love and the possibility of redemption within the tragedies of a dark world.
